Terms written for the product people actually use.
These terms govern access to Jason, its local spreadsheet workspace, and the related account and subscription services.
Effective date: 2026-08-02. Operator: CASTILVA GAMES LTD.
Pre-launch draft: verified operator, jurisdiction, and review details are still required before live payments can be enabled.
1. Who provides Jason
Jason is provided by CASTILVA GAMES LTD, at 34 Curtis House, Third Avenue, Unit 9, Hove/East Sussex, England, BN3 2PD, United Kingdom (the "Operator"). Registration: 16517352. Questions can be sent to support@jasongrid.com.
2. Agreement and eligibility
By using Jason, you agree to these terms. You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement. If you use Jason for an organization, you confirm that you may bind that organization.
3. Product licence
The Operator grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Jason for lawful internal or business work. You may not sell, sublicense, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, bypass licence controls, or use Jason to attack another system.
Free and Pro
Free supports source files up to 1,000,000,000 bytes and three local projects. Pro removes Jason-enforced file-size and project-count ceilings and enables advertised Pro capabilities. Browser, device, memory, and storage limits still apply to both plans.
4. Your files and local responsibility
Spreadsheet content is processed and stored in your browser profile; it is not uploaded to a Jason server. You remain responsible for the legality and accuracy of your data, device security, backups, and validating exports before relying on them. A .jason backup contains spreadsheet data and formulas and is not encrypted by Jason.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Pro is offered as a recurring monthly or annual subscription at the price and currency shown at checkout. Paddle processes the order as merchant of record, calculates applicable transaction taxes, issues the receipt, and handles payment credentials. The subscription renews until cancelled. Current status and renewal details are available through the Account page and Paddle customer portal.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel future renewal through the Paddle customer portal. Unless checkout terms or mandatory law say otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and does not itself refund an earlier charge. Refund requests follow our Refund Policy, the Paddle Refund Policy, and any non-waivable consumer rights.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Jason to violate law or third-party rights, distribute malware, interfere with the service, probe commercial endpoints without permission, or evade plan limits. We may restrict related account services when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect users, or comply with law.
8. Ownership
You keep rights in your files and outputs. The Operator and its licensors keep rights in Jason, its brand, code, design, and documentation. Feedback may be used without obligation, but it does not transfer ownership of your spreadsheet content.
9. Availability, benchmarks, and updates
Measured benchmarks describe specific development-machine runs and do not guarantee identical performance. Features may change for security, compatibility, or product improvement. We do not promise uninterrupted availability of account or billing services.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Jason is a data-working tool, not accounting, legal, tax, medical, or safety advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, it is provided without implied warranties and the Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Jason at any time. We may suspend related online services for material breach, fraud, security risk, or legal obligation. Sections that by nature should survive termination, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limits, continue to apply.
12. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, while preserving any mandatory protections available where you live. We may update these terms prospectively. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
